Journey: contracts

Every contract, grouped by who hands it out, the same way the game's Contracts tab does: the tradeposts, both fortresses, Arrakeen and Harko Village. Tick them off as you finish them.

Get this load of rock over to Griffin's Reach Tradepost. Offload it at the contracts board and you'll get your solaris. I don't know why the Harks need all this stone, but damn they need a lot. As long as Myr Charki keeps paying, there's a profit to be made.

Like any other Imperial Testing Station, No. 197 stored their records on Minimic Film, and I need those records.

However, as you demonstrated in Testing Station No. 2, you, my dauntless friend, are clearly much better equipped to handle any... obstacles, inside.

Go, recover the records. Then we can talk about planetology.

My supposed superior, Cyprian Io, has shown very little interest in my work thus far. However, protocol demands I provide an update on my findings and get his approval to access Kynes's research notes...

Find him in Arrakeen. There, using his mother's influence, the small-minded man has claimed ostentatious quarters for himself, upstairs in the Salusan Bull.

If you've yet to visit Arrakeen, fly para-east, you'll get there eventually. Or take a 'thopter taxi from one of the tradeposts.

See, with your capable help, I imagine we can get our hands on *both* the minimic films *and* the keys to this cage, don’t you think?

It appears that Imperial Testing Stations have become popular hideouts for a myriad of unsavory elements. No. 29 is no exception, so I thank my good fortune to have run into you again, while your bravado is inspiring, I think we should play to our strengths, don’t you?

Last I heard, he’s still conducting his affairs from the upper floor of the Salusan Bull in Arrakeen, so head there and relay our information.

I don’t like either one of us spending more time than necessary with that misbegotten fool, and this sudden interest in the science of Planetology seems unlike him, please, be on your guard, and come find me afterwards.

According to the notes I’ve been able to put together, Kynes held a famous lecture about his grand plans for Arrakis, and I believe there is a recording of it, somewhere within this very Testing Station! You should look for an old holo projector.

I’ll stay here deciphering more of these notes, but don’t worry. I've finally figured out how to look after myself.

The talk around Griffins Reach these days is mostly people ranting and raving about scavengers living in the old testing station. So far, so normal. But apparently those scavengers have gone utterly insane and they’re slaughtering anyone who gets too close.

I can't have something like that happening so near to my tradepost. It’s bad for business. I need a competent person to go in and remove the threat.

I’ve read up on the specs, and the amplifier will juice up a cutteray even more than I imagined! The only problem is it will also cause the beam to flare out too wide to be really effective. To focus the beam, I’m going to need a modulator equal to the strength of the amplifier.

I’ll bet you know where one of those could be found, right? Hope you still have your radiation gear.

Elements designed to protect and empower future members of the sisterhood as prophetic figures, should the need ever arise...

It seems more than a coincidence that an old botanical testing station, No. 71, can be found in the O’odham, which was once an important center of Fremen spirituality. This seems a likely inflection point for Fremen religion and planetary science. See if you can find anything there that explains how these two schools of thought converged.
