Affixes can be applied to Weapons, Gloves, Rings, and Amulets. Affixes it can add (top tier manual): • +[30 - 50]% Damage to Frozen Enemies • +[20 - 40]% Enchantment Damage • +[20 - 40]% Mastery Damage
Manual tiers in the game: 1, 2, 3. A higher tier manual upgrades the recipe's rolls.

Tempering manuals drop in the world. Reading one teaches the recipe at the Blacksmith, where it adds one of its affixes to a piece of gear.

Masterworking raises every affix on it a step at a time; ranks 4, 8 and 12 each pick one affix at random and raise it much more.
