Lair Bosses can be fought for free. Their Hoard, where the loot is, opens with a key. Here is where each key drops and which Hoards it opens.

Defeating this Lair Boss grants access to Duriel's Hoard.

Tormented HarbingerLair: Harbinger's DenBe drawn toward a dark den, from which there is no return.Hoard needs 1 Greater Lair Key

Defeating this Lair Boss grants access to Harbinger of Hatred's Hoard.

Leather scraps attempt to shield the bearer from touching the key directly. Etched runes point you towards its destination in a language you don't remember learning.

03Superior Lair Key

Where to get it

Acquired from Belial, Lord of Lies, who sometimes ambushes after opening a Lair Boss's Hoard.
Belial will only drop his treasure for those who opened the Hoard that caught his attention.
Only found in Torment difficulties.
